FSI Submits Statement for the Record for Senate Banking Committee Hearing

June 21, 2012

On June 21, the Senate Banking Committee held a hearing entitled "Perspectives on Money Market Reforms." FSI submitted a statement for the record documenting our concerns regarding proposed changes to the structure of money market funds, particularly our strong opposition to proposals that would force these funds to abandon their stable $1.00 per-share price and isntead "float" their net asset values (NAVs).
