FSI Opposes CA Effort to Limit Competition in 403(b) Market

On March 30, FSI submitted a letter to the Honorable Warren Furutani, Chair of the California Assembly's Public Employees, Retirement and Social Security Committee, opposing AB 1949. If adopted, the bill would greatly limited competition in the California 403(b) marketplace by creating incentives for educational entities to select 403(b) plan providers from a limited number of large financial institutions.
