As an FSI member ("you"), FSI is disclosing to you in this document:
- What personally identifiable information of yours is collected from you when becoming an FSI member and by accessing FSI's website at financialservices.org;
- How the information is used;
- With whom the information may be shared;

Information Collection and Use
FSI is the sole owner of the information collected on financialservices.org (the "website") and from membership applications. FSI will not sell, share, or rent this information to others except as described herein. FSI also collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site and through other means, such as meeting registration forms.
In order to be a member of FSI, you must complete an application form. During membership application or renewal, FSI requests your business contact information such as name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
FSI collects your business contact information for two reasons: 1) it is generally the preferred contact address by members receiving membership information from FSI, both electronic and regular mail; and 2) FSI uses it for membership surveys to serve you better in the future.
FSI may also collect non-business contact information. FSI does so primarily to determine your Congressional District, the identity of your elected officials, or similar information relevant to our advocacy objectives.
Any third parties with whom contact information is shared for business purposes (Web site hosting company, database administration firm, mail houses, etc.) are prohibited from releasing the information to anyone else or from using it for purposes other than those outlined above.
FSI Electronic Mail
As part of its membership benefits and services, FSI may electronically mail news of professional interest to you, including information on FSI’s advocacy efforts, meetings, events, products, and services. If you do not wish to receive any e-mails from us, you may opt out by contacting the Member Services Department at 888 373-1840 between 8:30am and 4:30pm ET or by e-mailing our Membership Department at email@example.com.
FSI Web Site Surveys, Conference and Product Orders
FSI may request information from you on our order form when you choose to attend a FSI conference, event, or to purchase a product or service from us. Attendees must provide contact information (such as name and shipping address) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date). This information is used to fill your order and for billing purposes. If FSI has trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the you.
FSI may also post surveys on its Web site, forward them to members via e-mail or contact members via telephone. FSI may use a third party to perform these surveys. These surveys collect information from the respondent. Such information is not distributed to third parties but is used for purposes of monitoring and/or improving the FSI Web site, other member services, or to further FSI’s advocacy agenda. Third parties assisting with such surveys may utilize the aggregate data in reports to FSI, in their own publications, or for other purposes. However, individual responses from members will not be released to anyone else or used for purposes other than those outlined herein.

FSI uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer our website, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

FSI may use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. FSI prohibits these companies in its contractual agreements from retaining, sharing, storing or using personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
FSI may partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, FSI will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
