FINRA Podcasts - The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) frequently develops and produces podcasts on a variety of topics. FSI has chosen to highlight those events we feel are most applicable to our advocacy priorities and members’ interests. Advocacy Summit – The Advocacy Summit is a bi-annual gathering of FSI members in Washington D.C. Participants spend the morning with guest speakers preparing for an afternoon on Capitol Hill meeting with elected officials to discuss issues of importance. OneVoice – OneVoice: FSI Broker-Dealer Conference is the in-person annual gathering of the independent broker-dealer community. Education and networking sessions are specifically designed for CEOs, senior executives, managers, and employees of member and prospective member broker-dealers. Discussions- FSI Discussions include three days of outstanding networking and information sharing exclusively for executives and senior managers of broker-dealer member firms. Discussions focus on specific job functions are broken down as follows: Operations and Technology, Investment Advisory Services, Compliance, and CEO. Regional Discussions- Modeled after our closed-door discussions, these day-long discussions provide members an opportunity to hear from colleagues at other broker-dealers about how they are managing and overcoming increasingly complex compliance and operational/technology hurdles.
